Debut album from Toronto artist Fonseka delves into relationships with family, loves and her own survival. I wanted to create imagery that reflects the complexity of these topics with many layers, while still staying true to the lighter feel of the songs. The goal was to juxtapose the darker themes with brighter colours just as the lyrics juxtapose these topics over upbeat melodies.
